Craft (Miami Opa-Locka) has ceased Gulfstream Aerospace commercial operations following the retirement of the last GIV-SP from its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research shows.
N165JF (msn 1251) was last active on January 21, 2025, performing a test flight around Miami Opa-Locka, where it had been parked since November 21, 2024. The 30.3-year-old aircraft joined Craft’s fleet in early 2023 and was then the second of two GIV-SPs. The first, inducted in 2021, was retired in October 2024.
Craft previously operated other Gulfstream Aerospace jets, including two GIVs and four G550s. In a recent exclusive interview with ch-aviation, CEO Israel Slod confirmed the company was in the process of replacing the Gulfstream fleet with Bombardier Business Aircraft Challenger jets by the end of 2024, although no new Challenger aircraft have yet been added.
Following this retirement, Craft's Part 135 certificate now includes three Challenger 300s and a Premier IA. The company follows an ownership model in which investors buy a stake in “pods” consisting of five aircraft.
