Clay Lacy Aviation (CLY, Van Nuys) has resumed Citation Sovereign charter operations with the addition of N120CB (msn 680-0074) to its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research reveals.

The 18.7-year-old jet, configured for up to eight passengers, is based at Seattle Boeing Field. It was previously operated privately in the United States after being retired from the charter fleet of Priester Aviation, where it was in service from 2018 until February 2024.

Clay Lacy Aviation previously operated two Citation Sovereign jets, one between 2010 and 2012 and another in 2019. The newly added Citation Sovereign joins a Citation X in the operator's Part 135 fleet, which also includes 53 other aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, and Gulfstream Aerospace. The company confirmed to ch-aviation that no other Citation aircraft are currently in the onboarding process for its charter fleet.
