Springfield Aircraft Charter and Sales (IBG, Kansas City Downtown) has commenced charter operations with Citation-series aircraft following the addition of its first Citation Excel to its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research reveals.

N11CP (msn 560-5245) is a 22.9-year-old jet configured for up to nine passengers and based at Everett. Previously operated by Erin Air since 2013, it left the company's Part 135 fleet in July 2024. It was previously based at Seattle Boeing Field.

Before adding the Citation Excel, Springfield Air’s Part 135 fleet exclusively comprised Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft, namely two G200s, which joined the charter fleet after the company retired its sole GVII-G600. All three jets currently under Springfield Air’s Part 135 certificate were formerly operated by Erin Air.
