Lone Star Aviators (Houston Hobby) has added its first two Citation Ultra to its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research reveals.

The aircraft, N567RW (msn 560-0394) and N331BR (msn 560-0530), have an average age of 26.8 years. Previously operated by Red Wing Aviation, both were retired in July 2024 and removed from the company's Part 135 certificate in October. Between November and December, the jets were ferried to Houston Hobby, where they are now based, and began operations with Lone Star Aviators in early February 2025.

Red Wing Aviation, part of the Vista America group, retired the Citation Ultra from its fleet in 2024. Its current Part 135 fleet consists of six Citation Excel.

Lone Star Aviators’ Part 135 fleet also includes a Citation II, three Citation V, a Citation Excel, and a PC-12.
