JetSelect Aviation (VJA, Columbus John Glenn, OH) has begun operating its first G300 in its Part 135-certified fleet, marking the last of its type formerly managed by its sister company, Jet Edge, as revealed by ch-aviation research.
N30JE (msn 1517) completed its final flight under Jet Edge's certificate on August 24, travelling between Red Wing and Van Nuys. On August 31, the 24.6 year-old-aircraft performed a service to Toronto Pearson, now under JetSelect Aviation's Part 135 certificate. Both Jet Edge and JetSelect Aviation are part of the Vista America group, which also includes Red Wing Aviation and XOJET Aviation. This Gulfstream Aerospace jet, seating up to 12 passengers, is the only of its type in the group's fleet.
With this latest addition, JetSelect Aviation's fleet now includes 79 aircraft under its operator certificate, comprising forty-nine Challenger 300, 350, and 3500s, two Challenger 605s, six Global 5000s, three Global 7500s, eleven GIV-SPs, and seven G450s.
Jet Edge, meanwhile, operates 14 aircraft within its Part 135 fleet, consisting of five G280s, one G400, one G450, one GIV-SP, one G550, two GV-SPs, one G650ER, one Global 7500, and one Legacy 650.
