Luminair has announced the addition of its first Citation XLS+. The company recently told Business Air News it expects to operate three XLS-family jets by April 2025, alongside plans to induct three brand-new Falcon 900LXs.

The newly added Citation XLS+, D-CPLN (msn 560-6003), was at the centre of a dispute between ACASS Ireland and Amborella, the aircraft's owner at the time. It was recently reregistered in Germany after Amborella requested its transfer to a Hamburg-based company, now confirmed to be Luminair.

The 16.2-year-old jet began operating under Luminair's 'LUA' code on February 10, 2025, flying from Bournemouth, where it had been parked for nearly four months, to Bremen Hans Koschnick, followed by a leg to Hamburg, its new base.

ch-aviation has contacted ACASS Ireland regarding the ongoing dispute with Amborella and reached out to Luminair for further details on the added Citation XLS+.

Luminair was certified in late 2024 with a single Citation XLS in its fleet. It plans to take three Falcon 900LXs throughout 2025 directly from Dassault Aviation.
