Italian multinational energy conglomerate ENI Group has retired the sole G280 it operated for corporate travel, ch-aviation research reveals. The group's fleet is owned and operated by Servizi Aerei, a subsidiary holding an Italian Air Operator's Certificate (AOC).
I-SEAV (msn 2214), a 4.4-year-old aircraft, was active under Servizi Aerei's "SNM" code until November 11, 2024, when it travelled between Rome Ciampino and Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH. It later performed a test flight on December 20 and was deregistered in Italy in early 2025. On January 7, it was reregistered in the United States as N235U but has yet to commence operations under the new registration.
ENI Group's corporate jet fleet remains exclusively composed of Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft, comprising three G650ERs with an average age of three years. One of the G650ERs was added in November 2024, coinciding with the G280's retirement.
