Servizi Aerei (SNM, Rome Ciampino) has applied to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for exemption authority and a Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP) allowing it to conduct passenger and cargo charter flights to the United States and beyond.

In its application, the Italian business aviation specialist said it plans to start charter flights from Rome (and other points around Europe) to New York (and other points in the United States) in March next year.

Founded in 1982, Servizi Aerei operates a Dassault Aviation Falcon 2000, two Falcon 900EXs, and a Gulfstream V-SP 550.
