Air New Zealand (NZ, Auckland International) will complete the retirement of its fleet of B737-300s this year Aviation Week has reported. In its article, the publication said the carrier's remaining four B737s to be gone by September of this year replaced by an incoming fleet of A320ceo and neo twinjets.
The B737s, which collectively average 15.8 years of age, are currently used on domestic flights connecting Auckland International, Christchurch, Dunedin, and Wellington.
According to the ch-aviation aircraft database, though three of them have already been scrapped, Air New Zealand's retired B737-300s have gone on to find homes all over the world with some in service with BoA - Boliviana de Aviación, Magnicharters, Nauru Airlines, Vista Georgia, and VivaAerobus.
