Swiftair (WT, Madrid Barajas) has deployed its first B737-400(F), EC-MAD (msn 25261), to West Africa where it is under contract for DHL Express. Based out of Abidjan, it was recently spotted in service in Lagos replacing its predecessor, an Allied Air (4W, Lagos) B727-200(F), 5N-JNR (msn 21056).
The Spanish operator currently has two B737-400 passenger jets, G-CIBE (msn 26298) and N350AT (msn 25163), undergoing conversion into freighters in Tampa International.
