Fox Aviation (FIX, Ljubljana) is set to launch Embraer Executive Jets operations with the addition of a Legacy 600 and a Legacy 650, chief operating officer Srdjan Petrovic shared on LinkedIn. The company is also resuming operations with the Citation Jet 2+ type following a six-month hiatus.

The Legacy 600, S5-BTC (msn 14501100), is a 15.8-year-old aircraft previously operated by Poland's Jet Story as SP-DLB. It was last active on December 2, 2024, flying under Jet Story's 'JDI' code between Katowice Pyrzowice and London Stansted, where it is undergoing maintenance before entering service with Fox Aviation. Jet Story continues to operate another Legacy 600, while an additional unit has been stored at Istanbul Atatürk since October 2023.

Petrovic confirmed that the operator will also add a Legacy 650, although the registration and serial number have not been disclosed.

Simultaneously, Fox Aviation has added the Citation Jet 2+ S5-ETH (msn 525A-0480). Previously operated by Germany's ProAir Aviation as D-IBTC, the 13.5-year-old aircraft was last active on September 17, 2024, flying from Bremen Hans Koschnick to Ljubljana under ProAir Aviation's 'PAV' code. The German company continues to operate two Citation Jet 2s and nine Citation Jet 2+, alongside other Citation Jet-series aircraft.

Similarly to the Legacy 600, the Citation Jet 2+ has yet to enter service with Fox, although Petrovic indicated that it is expected to do so shortly. This marks the reintroduction of the type to Fox's fleet following the recent retirement of the sole Citation Jet 2+ it operated.

The Embraer jets and Citation Jet 2+ will join Fox Aviation’s existing fleet, which includes a 24.1-year-old Slovenian-registered Citation Bravo and a 25.3-year-old Citation Jet, previously Slovenian-registered but recently reregistered in San Marino.
