Elite Air (United States of America) (ELZ, St. Petersburg/Clearwater) has added its first Challenger 605 to its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research shows. The jet was previously operated by the same company under the Part 91 certificate.
N450RH (msn 5809) is a 15.8-year-old Bombardier Business Aircraft recently reimported to the United States, where it was registered on November 5, 2024. It became active on November 8, operating a flight between Lincoln, NE and St. Petersburg/Clearwater, where it has been based since. The jet’s first flight under Elite Air’s 'ELZ' code was on March 7, 2025, between its base and Napa.
Originally registered in China, where it operated for 10 years, the jet was imported to the United States for the first time in 2021. It the joined the fleet of Argentina’s Flyzar in 2022 as LV-KFQ before being phased out in April 2024. Flyzar has since added another Challenger 605 to its charter fleet in July 2024.
Elite Air previously operated other Challenger 600-series variants, including the Challenger 601, Challenger 601-3A, Challenger 604, and Challenger 650. The operator's Part 135 fleet now comprises a Learjet 31A, a Learjet 40XR, two Challenger 300s, a Challenger 350, a Challenger 3500, the newly added Challenger 605, two Global Express, a Global 5500, a Citation XLS, a Praetor 600, two Legacy 600s, a Legacy 650, two G200s, a G450, a G650ER, two Hawker 800XPi, two Hawker 850XP, a Hawker 900XP, and two King Air B300s.
