National Jets (United States of America) (EGS, Fort Lauderdale International) has retired its sole G550 from its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research shows.
N8988 (msn 5391) is a 13.1-year-old Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft configured to seat up to 16 passengers. It was last active on December 30, 2024, flying between Charleston International and Fort Lauderdale Executive. Originally registered in the Isle of Man, the ultra-long-range-jet was subsequently reregistered in Switzerland and Malta before being exported to the United States in 2023. It joined National Jets' fleet later that year.
Recently, National Jets expanded its charter fleet with the addition of its first GIV-SP and Hawker 800XPi(2), which now operate alongside a Learjet 40.
