Genel Havacilik (Istanbul Atatürk) has resumed Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft operations with the addition of its first GIV-SP and the readdition of a G450 it previously operated, ch-aviation research has shown.

The GIV-SP, TC-GKL (msn 1492), became active on January 1, 2025, flying between Istanbul Atatürk and Edremit. The 21.7-year-old aircraft was previously operated as TC-CKD by CKD Aviation, which will continue to operate another GIV-SP.

Meanwhile, the G450, TC-CZD (msn 4354), has been re-added to Genel Havacilik's fleet. The aircraft was previously operated by the company between May 2022 and August 2023, but was later transferred to another Turkish operator, Vatanjet. Parked at Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH since October 7, 2024, following a flight from Antalya, the jet has not yet resumed operations with Genel Havacilik. Vatanjet will continue to operate another G450.

With these two additions, Genel Havacilik, which also recently inducted a Global Express XRS, operates a diverse fleet that includes other Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Embraer Executive Jets, and Textron Aviation aircraft.
