Genel Havacilik (Istanbul Atatürk) has inducted its first Global Express XRS while simultaneously retiring its sole Falcon 2000, according to ch-aviation research.

Global Express XRS TC-TSS (msn 9333), a 16-year-old aircraft, operated by MHS Aviation (Germany) since 2018 as D-ACCF, was the last of its type in the German company's fleet.

The ultra-long-range private jet was last active under the 'MHV' code on September 17, completing a test flight around London Biggin Hill, where it had been parked since August 21, following a leg from Munich. On November 15, it first operated bearing its new Turkish registration, on a flight to Istanbul Atatürk, where it has since been based.

Meanwhile, Falcon 2000 TC-ADA (msn 229) is no longer part of Genel Havacilik's fleet. The 18.1-year-old jet, which was very recently inducted, is now managed by fellow Turkish company Be Aero, which operates two other units of the same type.

Now, the Global Express XRS joins two Turkish-registered Global 5000s and a San Marino-registered Global Express in Genel Havacilik’s fleet. With the retirement of the Falcon 2000, the company continues to operate two Dassault Aviation jets, a Falcon 50EX and a Falcon 900DX. Additionally, the firm manages a diverse fleet of Bombardier Business Aircraft, Embraer Executive Jets, and Textron Aviation aircraft.
