Axiom Aviation Group has expanded its Part 135-certified fleet in the United States by adding its first Learjet 45(XR), according to ch-aviation research.
The newly inducted N197EC (msn 45-197) is 22.7 years old and was previously operated privately in the US. The aircraft flew from Joplin to Lincoln, NE, on August 19, 2024, where it remained until completing a test flight on September 18, 2024. It headed to Joplin the same day, and, since then, it has been actively operating under Axiom Aviation Group's Part 135 certificate. Originally delivered to Flexjet (LXJ, Cleveland Cuyahoga Country), it has been US-registered for most of its history, except for a five-year period when it was registered in Brazil.
In addition to the Learjet 45(XR), Axiom Aviation Group's Part 135 fleet includes two other aircraft, a Citation M2 and a Pilatus Aircraft PC-12. The operator owns the PC-12 turboprop.
