Jet Aviation Flight Services (JAS, Teterboro) has bought a recently opened Fixed Base Operator (FBO) at Milwaukee General Mitchell from Jet In, a sister company of Part 135-certificated business aviation specialist JetOUT (CRE, Milwaukee General Mitchell).
"Milwaukee allows us to offer a gateway into the Upper Midwest region in a market where we know our customers are travelling, and where we also have aircraft based," Jet Aviation's president, Jeremie Caillet, said.
The FBO was opened in 2023 and includes a passenger terminal, a hangar, a dedicated maintenance facility, and ramp access. Following the acquisition, Jet Aviation has eleven FBOs in the United States and a further 13 in other regions, including Europe and the Middle East. The operator has an in-house fleet of 56 aircraft certificated for Part 135 operations in the US. The company has subsidiary operators in, among other places, Switzerland, San Marino, Malta, and Hong Kong.
JetOUT operates a fleet of five Citation Jet 4 Gen2s, one Citation M2 Gen2, and one TBM-700 on its own Part 135 certificate.
