Gulfstream Aerospace has begun delivering its first G700 business jets to US customers after the type received Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification in late March. Business jet broker Avjet (Burbank) handled one of the deliveries on behalf of its client late last month, an aircraft currently registered as N702GD (msn 87002).
Gulfstream had hoped to deliver as many of 15 of its new flagship business jet to customers over 2024, but certification delays have impeded this. Aside from the Avjet aircraft, it handed over a second G700 to an undisclosed buyer around the same date.
Avjet Global Sales is a aircraft sales and acquisition company specialising in VVIP aircraft. The company says it has facilitated over 500 transactions valued at over USD10 billion. In March, Avjet handled the sale of a B787-8.
