St Barth Executive (LE, Saint Barthélemy), a charter, taxi, and air ambulance carrier based in Saint-Jean on the French-governed Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy, has applied to the US Department of Transportation (DOT) for exemption authority and a Foreign Air Carrier Permit (FACP).
In its application, the carrier did not disclose its specific plans to operate to the US. It only said that it seeks to conduct foreign charter flights from points in France's overseas possessions in the Americas, and intermediate points, to the United States and beyond, using only small aircraft capable of seating a maximum of 60 seats or with a maximum payload capacity of no more than 8,165kgs.
St Barth Executive added that its fleet consists of two PC-12NGs with a maximum passenger capacity of nine and equivalent cargo capacity, depending on the mission range. Operations reflect a standard ad-hoc air taxi model.
Registered in the French business registry (Registre du Commerce et des Sociétés, RCS) in December 2015, St Barth Executive gained an Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from France's Directorate General for Civil Aviation on January 10, 2019.
