Surf Air (URF, Santa Monica) shut down its Surf Air Europe (London City) operation in November given weaker than anticipated demand for its services.
"Further to that, we decided that the European business had become insolvent and therefore filed a creditor voluntary liquidation," a company spokesman told The Telegraph newspaper.
Surf Air Europe had offered flights across Western Europe in partnership with FlairJet (United Kingdom) using its E505 jets.
