Air Saint-Pierre (PJ, Saint Pierre) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ATR - Avions de Transport Régional (EVX, Toulouse Blagnac) for the purchase of one ATR42-600. The new turboprop will replace the airline's sole ATR42-500 which has been in service since 2009.
Based in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, a French overseas collectivity located south of the Canadian island of Newfoundland, Air Saint-Pierre offers regular flights to the Canadian destinations of Halifax, Îles de la Madeleine, Montréal Trudeau, and St. John's. It also serves Paris CDG in partnership with ASL Airlines France (5O, Paris CDG).
