Swiss-based business and executive jet specialist TAG Aviation (Geneva) has expanded its portfolio of carriers after its nascent TAG Aviation (Malta) unit secured its Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) late last month.
“Receiving the Maltese AOC marks a significant milestone in strengthening TAG’s foundations to pursue the growth of its managed fleet of corporate jets," Daniel Christe, CEO, TAG Aviation Europe, said in a statement. "It further enhances our ability to start operations within a very short period of time and to meet our commitment to provide the highest level of responsiveness and customer service standards."
TAG said it has already sourced its first aircraft, a Bombardier Aerospace Challenger CL-605, which started operations last week. More aircraft are expected to be added later this year.
Aside from its new Maltese unit, TAG Aviation's other interests include TAG Aviation Middle East (Bahrain), TAG Aviation (United Kingdom), TAG Aviation España, and TAG Aviation Asia (Hong Kong).
