airly. (Melbourne Essendon) has confirmed plans to include jet operations during the roll out of its initial flights later this year.

The Australian subscription-based carrier said in a statement that effective September it will deploy a Learjet 45 into service to operate longer range routes such as Brisbane Archerfield to Melbourne Essendon and Adelaide International to Sydney Bankstown.

airly will also employ Beech (twin turboprop) King Air 350s for flights connecting: Melbourne Essendon with Sydney Bankstown, Canberra and Adelaide; Canberra with Bankstown and Melbourne Essendon; and Bankstown with Melbourne Essendon, Canberra, and Gold Coast Coolangatta.

As a virtual carrier, airly says it has shortlisted three capacity providers to undertake its operations but says it will not commit to any agreements until it has completed fund raising.
