SETE Linhas Aéreas (Goiânia) has announced plans to restructure its operations and reduce capacity as a result of Brazil's worsening economic outlook. In a statement, the carrier said that as it would be suspending various scheduled passenger routes, operated by its fleet of four E120s, with effect from January of next year. Similarly, routes flown by its fleet of Cessna (single turboprop) Grand Caravan 208Bs will also be rationalized to adapt to the sudden dearth in demand.

According to its route map, SETE Linhas Aéreas uses the Brasilias on flights connecting Sao Luis, Teresina, Belém International, Altamira, BR, Marabá, Imperatriz, Palmas Tocantins, Brasília Juscelino Kubitschek International, and Goiânia while its Caravans are used on flights to Araguaina, Carolina, Conceicao do Araguaia, Ourilândia do Norte, and Redenção.

"We emphasize that the aforementioned suspension does not affect other services offered by SETE Linhas Aéreas, i.e. executive charters and medevac services, hangar and aircraft MRO will remain active and available to our customers," it said.
