Cambodia's State Secretariat of Civil Aviation closed the northwestern part of its airspace to all commercial traffic effective July 25, 2025, due to the ongoing border clashes with Thailand. NOTAM A0092/25 indicates that all flights that were due to pass through the closed airspace should reroute to the south. The closure does not affect any airports with scheduled traffic, and flights to and from Siem Reap New Angkor International, the closest major air gateway, are not affected. Meanwhile, Thailand imposed restrictions on movements in two areas on its side of the border, although the closure is not total - one region remains open to high-altitude flights, and the other to low-altitude flights. No commercial airports on the Thai side are affected, and scheduled flights between the two countries also continue unimpeded. Despite the ceasefire agreed upon on July 28, the NOTAMs remain in force.
