Porter Airlines (P3, Toronto Billy Bishop City Centre) has announced its international expansion to the Caribbean and Latin America starting this winter, marking the first time it ventures beyond the Canada and the United States. It revealed five new destinations, Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, Nassau International, Grand Cayman Island, and Guanacaste.

“These are Porter’s first routes outside of our longtime presence throughout Canada and the US,” said Kevin Jackson, president at Porter Airlines, adding that it is a significant development for the company.

Cancún, Puerto Vallarta, and Nassau will be served from Toronto Pearson, Ottawa International, and Hamilton, ON, while Grand Cayman and Guanacaste will be served from Toronto and Ottawa. The start dates for the flights range between November 5 and December 19, 2025, and all routes will be operated with Porter’s E195-E2 fleet.

The schedules were established to work seamlessly with Air Transat's flights to the region, as part of their joint-venture agreement.

The Canadian carrier has a fleet of twenty-nine DHC-8-Q400s and forty-four E195-E2s.
