avianca airlines (AV, Bogotá) will dry-lease nine incremental A320-200Ns from BOC Aviation.

The lessor announced it entered into an agreement with Airbus to buy the factory-new jets that it will then lease out to the Colombian flag carrier. The A320neo aircraft will be powered by CFM International LEAP-1A engines. avianca airlines is expected to take delivery of them in 2027.

The airline is also expecting delivery of seventy-eight A320-200Ns directly from the European manufacturer as part of its ongoing fleet renewal process.

According to the ch-aviation Commercial Aviation Aircraft Data module, avianca airlines currently operates twenty-four A320-200Ns. Subsidiaries avianca airlines Ecuador and avianca airlines El Salvador operate five and twelve aircraft of the type, respectively. Besides the A320-200Ns, avianca airlines' in-house fleet comprises six A319-100, sixty A320-200, and sixteen B787-8s.

The carriers of Avianca Group currently do not lease any aircraft from BOC Aviation.
