Ryanair Holdings has added a brand new Challenger 3500 for corporate use, ch-aviation research reveals.
The Bombardier Business Aircraft, registered in the Isle of Man as M-ABSU (msn 21052), was delivered on March 26, 2025, directly from the manufacturer's facilities at Montréal Trudeau to Dublin International, before continuing to London Stansted the same day.
Until now, the Ryanair parent entity's corporate fleet consisted exclusively of Learjet 45-series aircraft aged between 12 and 21 years. This includes three Learjet 45XRs added between 2012 and 2015, and a Learjet 45 inducted in 2022. All of Ryanair's corporate jets are owned by Aviation Finance and Leasing (Malta), a subsidiary of Ryanair Holdings.
Based at the airline’s primary maintenance hubs in Milan Bergamo and London Stansted, the Learjets are mainly used for transporting parts, engineers, and repositioning flight crews. Currently, it is unclear whether the Challenger 3500 will serve the same purpose or replace any of the existing aircraft.
