RwandAir (WB, Kigali) has postponed the reintroduction until late October of 11 routes temporarily halted due to the closure of the Democratic Republic of the Congo's airspace to Rwandan-registered aircraft amid the ongoing armed conflict near Goma in the eastern part of the country bordering Rwanda.
The airline had initially suspended the flights until April 2 but has now extended the suspension to October 26-27. The affected sectors are:
- 3x weekly Abuja (Nigeria) to Accra (Ghana)
- 2x daily/3x weekly Abuja via Accra to Kigali (Rwanda)
- 4x weekly Brazzaville (Congo) to Douala (Cameroon)
- 3x weekly Brazzaville to Kigali
- 3x weekly Cotonou Cadjehoun (Benin) via Libreville Leon M'Ba (Gabon) to Kigali
- 3x weekly Cotonou to Libreville
- 3x weekly Douala o Brazzaville
- 3x weekly Kigali to Abuja
- 4x weekly Kigali to Brazzaville
- 3x weekly Kigali to Cotonou
- 3x weekly Libreville to Cotonou.
