FlyOnE Pty Ltd, trading as FlyOnE (Australia) (Perth Jandakot), has acquired Rottnest Air-Taxi (Perth Jandakot). The acquisition includes Rottnest's air operator's certificate (AOC) and fleet. In a March 10 media release, FlyOnE CEO Korum Ellis said the purchase marks a critical step in the company's plans to expand and optimise air transport services.
FlyOnE ran two successful capital raisings in 2024, and in September, ch-aviation reported that it intended to take over the operations of Rottnest Air Taxi, a small charter operator that links Perth and Rottnest Island, just off the coast. Australian aircraft register data indicates four aircraft are registered in the name of Rottnest Air Taxi's owner, namely two Cessna (single piston) 172Ms, VH-WWL (msn 17267132) and VH-MVD (msn 17273660), and two Piper (single piston) 32s, VH-ALL (msn 32-3) and VH-JFC (msn 32-7100025).
FlyOnE says it will smoothly transition Rottnest Air Taxi operations into its portfolio and maintain uninterrupted services while preparing to implement technological and operational upgrades to improve safety, efficiency, and environmental performance.
