Transavia (Germany) (TAD, Speyer) has added a Citation Jet 1+, resuming operations with the type after previously operating a Citation Jet 1 between 2012 and 2020, ch-aviation research reveals.
The newly added aircraft, D-ILHD (msn 525-0694), is 15.8 years old and was operated by Atlas Air Service from 2022. It was last active on December 12, 2024, under Atlas Air Service's 'ATL' code, flying between Paderborn/Lippstadt and Bremen Hans Koschnick, where it remains parked. It has yet to enter service with Transavia.
This was one of five Citation Jet 1+ used by Lufthansa Aviation Training Germany, which no longer operates any aircraft. These jets were used to train pilots for Lufthansa Group carriers. Four were added to Atlas Air Service’s fleet, which continues to operate three, while a fifth unit was inducted by United Kingdom's SaxonAir Charter, which still operates it.
Transavia’s fleet remains exclusively composed of Citation Jet-series aircraft, with the Citation Jet 1+ joining a Citation Jet and three Citation Jet 2s.
