Juano has replaced its Citation Jet 1+, now up for sale, with its first Citation M2, operations manager Jorge Andreolli confirmed to ch-aviation.

"Since our founding in 2017, we've operated a Citation Jet 1+ for regional flights with excellent results," said Andreolli. "When the time came for an update, we selected the Citation M2 as its natural successor."

The new acquisition, LV-KMY (msn 525-1014), is a six-year-old aircraft configured to acommodate up to six passengers. While currently certified for private operations, Juano is awaiting certification from Argentina's civil aviation authority (Administración Nacional de Aviación Civil - ANAC) for commercial operations, which is expected soon.

Previously operated privately in Canada as C-FMMF, the aircraft last flew on November 26, 2024, between Grand Forks and Wichita Eisenhower, where it was reregistered in the United States as N673JM. After three months of inactivity, it was exported to Argentina on February 12, 2025, as LV-KMY, arriving at Juano's base at San Fernando, AR, via Fort Lauderdale International, Balboa, Trujillo Carlos Martinez de Pinillos, and Santa Cruz Viru Viru.

Meanwhile, the Citation Jet 1+, LV-GVQ (msn 525-0602), is now up for sale. The 19.1-year-old aircraft, also configured to seat up to six passengers, was last active on February 14, flying between Punta del Este and San Fernando.

Andreolli mentioned that, for now, there are no plans to add further aircraft to Juano's fleet, which is now solely composed of the newly acquired Citation M2.
