Cat Aviation (CAZ, Zurich) has phased out the last of its four Falcon 7X jets, ch-aviation research shows.
HB-JSS (msn 2), a 16.8-year-old Dassault Aviation aircraft configured to seat up to 13 passengers, had been operated by Cat Aviation since new. Based at Zurich, it was actively flying under the company's 'CAZ' code until September 2024. On October 7, it was ferried to Geneva, where it completed two test flights, one on December 20 and another on January 22, 2025.
Now deregistered, the aircraft's future is currently unknown. It was the last of four Falcon 7X previously operated by Cat Aviation, with the first retired in 2019. The second was phased out in early 2024 and is now operated by Malta's JetHouse, while the third was retired in the latter half of 2024 and has since joined the fleet of Türkiye's JetGlobe.
Following this retirement, Cat Aviation's fleet now comprises a Falcon 2000LXS, a Falcon 6X, a type for which Cat Aviation was the launch operator, and two Pilatus PC-24s.
