Air Associates (Kansas City Downtown) has ceased Hawker Beechcraft operations following the retirement of two Hawker 400XPs, its only aircraft from this manufacturer, from its Part 135-certified fleet, ch-aviation research reveals.
N501FF (msn RK-364) and N501XP (msn RK-501) are 21.5 and 18.2 years old, respectively. Both joined Air Associates' fleet in 2022. At that time, the company also operated a Beechjet 400A, which was retired in 2023.
N501FF has been parked at Austin Executive since January 10, 2025, while N501XP was last active on February 1, flying between Leesburg Executive and Kansas City Downtown. Neither jet is currently listed as Part 135-certified.
Air Associates' current Part 135 fleet includes a 13.9-year-old Citation Jet 3, configured for up to seven passengers, and a 15.6-year-old Learjet 60XR, seating up to eight passengers. The company recently retired its only Citation Jet 2.
