Korean Air (KE, Seoul Incheon) put its first two A350-900s into revenue service on January 27, 2025, with one aircraft working the Seoul Incheon-Osaka Kansai route and the other the Incheon-Fukuoka route. The aircraft type will begin flying to Taipei Taoyuan in March, and long-haul destinations, namely Madrid Barajas and Rome Fiumicino, on September 1, 2025.

To date, Korean Air has received two of twenty-one A350-900s. Initially, the widebodies will operate 2x daily roundtrips to Kansai and daily to Fukuoka. "The addition of the A350-900 to Korean Air's fleet addresses growing passenger demand and will strengthen the carrier’s fleet capacity as it continues its integration with Asiana Airlines (OZ, Seoul Incheon)," the airline said in a statement on January 26.

The aircraft seat 311 passengers - 283 in economy and 28 in business class. They are one cog in Korean Air's fleet modernisation programme. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, the carrier also has orders in for twenty-seven A350-1000s, among other narrow- and widebody types. Korean Air expects further deliveries of both A350 types across 2025.
