Jaz Aviation (Lagos) has replaced a Legacy 600 with a Legacy 650, ch-aviation research shows.

5N-PPB (msn 14501156) is a 12.2-year-old aircraft, configured to seat up to 13 passengers, which was first active on January 16, 2025, performing a test flight around Basel/Mulhouse/Freiburg, CH. It was ferried to Lagos two days later. Originally delivered to Empire Aviation, it was first registered as A6-VAS, and then reregistered as A6-SSV. It last operated under Empire Aviation's 'MJE' code on May 26, 2024, flying between Dubai World Central and Basel.

This was the last of three United Arab Emirates-registered Legacy 650s on Empire Aviation's local fleet, which now includes a Legacy 600 and a GVII-G600. Empire Aviation San Marino continues to operate a Legacy 650.

The aircraft replaced the Legacy 600 recently retired by Jaz Aviation, 5N-JLA (msn 145516). The 18.7-year-old jet, also configured to accommodate up to 13 passengers, was operating until April 2, 2024, when it flew between London Stansted and Bremen Hans Koschnick for maintenance. On August 29, it moved to Riga for additional maintenance, where it was reregistered as 5N-ONC. On November 14, it was ferried to Abuja with a stop at Basel. The aircraft is now operated by fellow Nigerian business aviation specialist Jet Support Services.

The Legacy 600 joins another Embraer aircraft in the fleet of Jet Support Services, an EMB-145LR, alongside a Hawker 800XP, a Hawker 850XP, and a Phenom 300.

Following this replacement, Jaz Aviation's fleet now includes a recently added Hawker 800XP and the newly inducted Legacy 650.
