Mahindra Airways (Mumbai International) has inducted its first aircraft, Challenger 3500 VT-MAY (msn 21016), and subsequently secured Non-Scheduled Operator’s Permit (NSOP) #10/2024 from India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation on October 27, ch-aviation research has revealed.
The brand-new Challenger 3500 was ferried from Montréal Trudeau to Delhi International, with stops at Shannon, Kalamata, and Dubai World Central, between August 20 and 23. It flew under the 'BBA' code for Bombardier Business Aircraft and registered as C-GOXW. On September 24, it was first active as VT-MAY, completing a roundtrip to Ahmedabad, and has been operating within the country ever since.
