Centrum Air (Tashkent International) plans to introduce a hub and spoke model in time for the 2025 Northern Hemisphere summer, according to CEO Hussein Sherif Fahmi. He aims to harness Uzbekistan's geographical position midway between Europe and Asia, and develop Tashkent as a transit hub.

According to ch-aviation schedules data, Centrum Air presently flies from Tashkent to Colombo International, Doha Hamad International, Dubai International, Guangzhou, Istanbul Sabiha Gökcen, and Salalah. It also flies from Fergana to Sharm el Sheikh. Fahmi said he wants to increase this to 34 airports next summer.

The planned network for 2025 includes Bangkok Suvarnabhumi, Sanya, Seoul Incheon, and Guangzhou in East Asia, as well as Jeddah International, Madinah, Dabaa, Tel Aviv Ben Gurion, Gazipasa, Batumi, Tbilisi, St. Petersburg, Moscow Vnukovo, Kazan International, Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev, Novosibirsk, Almaty International, Namangan, Dushanbe, Termez, Bukhara, and Urgench elsewhere in Asia, Türkiye, and the Caucasus. The airline also plans to enter the EU market by serving Milan Malpensa, Frankfurt International, and Copenhagen Kastrup.

Centrum Air is a virtual carrier established in January 2023. Its aircraft are operated under the AOC of parent carrier, My Freighter (C6, Tashkent International). The fleet currently comprises four A320-200s, one A321-200N, and one A321-200NX. Uzbekistan's Daryo outlet cites Fahmi as saying he intends to double the fleet mid-2025 by adding two more A320-200s, two A320-200Ns, one A321N, and three A330-300s. Centrum Air intends to start its network expansion with flights to India - as necessary traffic rights are granted.

My Freighter already has a European Union Third Country Operator (TCO) authorisation for passenger flights under the Centrum Air brand.

The carrier did not respond to a request for comment from ch-aviation.
