Etihad Airways (EY, Abu Dhabi International) will add another ten new routes to its network in 2025, according to a November 25 statement from the carrier. The additional destinations include one in North America, two in northern Africa, and seven in Asia. The airline says the new routes supplement its previously revealed new destinations for 2025, including Prague Václav Havel, Warsaw Chopin, and Dabaa.
“2025 marks a pivotal year for Etihad, with more than 90 destinations in over 50 countries, a fleet of more than 110 aircraft, including our new A321-200NX(LR)s, welcoming over 20 million guests onboard," said CEO Antonoaldo Neves.
The new routes for 2025 include:
- four times weekly Abu Dhabi-Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson flights from July 2, using A350-1000s;
- daily Abu Dhabi-Taipei Taoyuan flights from September 7, using B787s;
- thrice weekly Abu Dhabi-Medan Kuala Namu flights from October 2, using A321-200NX(LR)s;
- five times per week Abu Dhabi-Phnom Penh flights from October 3, using A321-200NX(LR)s;
- daily Abu Dhabi-Krabi flights from October 9, using A321-200NX(LR)s;
- thrice weekly Abu Dhabi-Tunis flights from November 1, using A321-200NX(LR)s;
- four times per week Abu Dhabi-Chiang Mai flights from November 3, using A321-200NX(LR)s;
- daily Abu Dhabi-Hanoi Noi Bai International flights from November 3, using A321-200NX(LR)s;
- five times per week Abu Dhabi-Hong Kong International flights from November 3, using B787s; and
- four times per week Abu Dhabi-Algiers flights from November 7, using A321-200NX(LR)s.
According to ch-aviation PRO airlines data, Etihad flies to 86 airports in 48 countries using a fleet of 102 aircraft, including fourteen A320-200s, one (wet leased) A320-200N, nine A321-200s, four A321-200Ns, two A321-200NX, five A350-1000s, ten A380-800s, five B777-200Fs, nine B777-300(ER)s, thirty-three B787-9s, and ten B787-10s.
Etihad's orderbook includes one A320-200N, twenty A321-200NX(LR)s, fifteen A350-1000s, seven A350Fs, eight B777-8s, seventeen B777-9s, eight B787-9s, and twenty B787-10s.
