IPS Airways (London Heathrow) is launching long-awaited seasonal charters between Manchester International in the United Kingdom and Islamabad International, Pakistan, on August 23. The flights will be operated by USC (Germany) (XG, Frankfurt International) with an A340-600.
According to schedules posted on its website, IPS Airways has opened ticket sales for charters that will operate 3x weekly until the end of January 2025. Flights depart Manchester on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and return the next day.
German charter specialist USC operates one company-owned A340-600, D-AUSZ (msn 557), currently parked at Frankfurt Hahn, according to ch-aviation fleets data. Its only other in-house aircraft, A340-300 D-AUSC (msn 646), currently operates on behalf of Air Sénégal between Dakar Blaise Diagne International and Paris CDG. Both are former South African Airways aircraft.

The Leeds/Bradford-based virtual carrier has twice postponed its launch, at the time blaming pandemic-related challenges. Initial plans in 2022 were for charters from Leeds/Bradford and Nottingham East Midlands. The company was incorporated on July 2, 2021, by British national Ali Ansar, with Hera Ansar joining the company as a director in April 2023, according to UK Companies House records.
