Animawings (A2, Bucharest Henri Coanda) has scheduled a September 15 debut for its forthcoming A220-300 fleet, the ch-aviation schedules module shows.
The carrier, which is set to add two A220-300s, will operate five A220 routes from Bucharest to each of:
- Cluj-Napoca - 5x weekly starting on September 16;
- Iasi - 11x weekly starting on September 15;
- Larnaca - 3x weekly starting on September 16;
- Oradea - 7x weekly starting on September 15; and
- Paris CDG - 7x weekly starting on September 15.
The Romanian leisure specialist currently operates a single A320-200 transferred from former parent Aegean Airlines (A3, Athens). As ch-aviation previously reported, the Greek carrier sold its remaining 51% stake in Animawings to Christian Tour Holding NV in February.
ch-aviation reached out to Animawings for comment. No information on the carrier’s future A220 registrations or serial numbers has been disclosed.
