Jet Logistics (Charleston Executive) has added a new Hawker 850XP and Hawker 800XP to its organ donor transport and aeromedical fleet.

Jet Logistics says both jets are later-model, low-time aircraft offering updated, executive-quality exterior paint and interior cabins. Each seats up to eight passengers and features advanced avionics and communications systems. The operator says the Hawker 800-series is well-suited for servicing both shorter-haul, transcontinental, and international missions. The 850XP is Midwest-based in Tulsa International, and the 800XP is East Coast-based in Raleigh/Durham.

Jet Logistics Holding Group President, W. Ashley Smith, Jr, told ch-aviation the 850XP is registered as N222KU (msn 258788) and the 800XP is registered as N544PS (msn 258491). FAA data reveals the registered owner of N222KU is Lone Star Storage Trailers in Texas, while the registered owner of N544PS is Michigan-based Lucas Aviation LLC.

"Our company has been operating and servicing Hawkers for two decades," said Smith. "We have five Hawker aircraft in our fleet. Our flight crews and mechanics, including me with significant time in this type, know the aircraft extremely well."

According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Jet Logistics also operates two Citation Jet 3s, two 3+, and one XLS+.

Jet Logistics began operations in corporate passenger charter over 20 years ago. It has subsequently expanded in the US and international markets with services in aeromedical, government contracting and special mission sectors. It now operates aviation programs for leading air medical providers, corporations and government agencies, including the United States Department of Defense.
